This past Saturday the weather was sunny and a FREEZING 32° but that didn't deter the more than 600 courageous and creative people that plunged into the icy Atlantic Ocean at Plymouth Long Beach for the 12th annual Jordan's Polar Plunge chaired by Catherine McKenna. The mood on the beach was cheerful, fun, and filled with community spirit. For the plungers themselves, it's always personal. They are plunging for the people they love. A mother, father, son, daughter, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, niece, nephew, friend. To date over $1,000,000 has been raised and donated to the Jordan Hospital Club Cancer Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth. This year the money is designated for the JHC Cancer Center Clinical Trial Research Program.
